Jon Fitch

Based in Sydney, Australia, Jon Fitch is a passionate outdoor photographer, whose art has developed as a natural extension of his interest in outdoor pursuits such as hiking, mountain biking, surfing and skiing.

Jon focuses on photographing the beauty of the world around us. He seeks out interesting places and waits for those magic moments. While Sydney provides extensive photo opportunities, particularly around its many beaches and waterways, Jon’s interest extends far beyond his local environs, regularly escaping the city to capture the beauty of the natural world, both within Australia and overseas.  

Jon is an avid student of the art of photography. He reads widely and has successfully completed a Diploma of Professional Photography and Certificate of Landscapes and Travel Photography from The Photography Institute – Australia. He is married with two adult children and lives on the Northern Beaches of Sydney.
